WA are pleased to be supporting a growing and well-established organisation in the appointment of an Accounts Payable Team Leader based in Haddington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional ready to step into a leadership role, overseeing day-to-day AP operations while supporting the continued development of processes and team capability.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Team Leader will play a key role within the finance team, ensuring the smooth and accurate running of Accounts Payable activities across multiple entities. The role will involve building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, driving efficiency within processes, and supporting the development of a collaborative and high-performing team.
Post bank transactions and carry out regular reconciliations~Maintain strong financial controls and support continuous improvement of AP processes~Lead, motivate, and support a growing Accounts Payable team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets~Provide support to the wider finance team on ad hoc tasks and projects as required
Previous experience working within Accounts Payable, ideally with some supervisory or mentoring responsibility~Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records~A proactive mindset and an interest in improving processes and supporting team development
