Do you want to make a difference with the work you do? Join us as aSupport Desk Engineer. You will be the point of contact for our customers and work proactively support our range of solutions to ensure that they can do their bit in addressing local challenges with road transport and the environment whilst delivering an exceptional level of service

Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary Engineer supporting a selection of Clients and becoming a key contact for any support issues and queries.
  • Own and be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Clients and our range of bespoke enforcement solutions. Achieve this via onsite and remote working processes resolving a range of complex hardware and software issues within SLAs so that we can meet our contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with the Senior Enforcement Engineers to improve incident life-cycle timing and solution efficiency and reliability.
  • Assist with rollouts of software and service upgrades.
  • Work with other Engineers and Sub-Contractors to plan and support on-street maintenance activities for the system safely and effectively.
  • Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Someone with a Degree, Technical Degree, training or equivalent work experience working with PC hardware and software; fault finding, diagnosing and repairing.
  • Someone who is interested in learning bespoke and technical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  •  Someone with a working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and basic networking principles
  •  Someone who is proactive and result-oriented (you’ll also have a structured and hands-on approach to complex tasks).
  •  Someone who can work on their own or as part of a team; works well with other people and communicates effectively within the team and with clients.
  • Advantageously someone with an understanding of SQL and possesses ability create queries to manipulate and retrieve data.
  • Any ITIL qualifications would be beneficial
  • Someone happy to travel across the UK to support customer systems. With full UK driving licence.
