Overview
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of operatives, staff, and site-based support, ensuring site capability and capacity is maximised – all while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and team wellbeing.
Act as Nominated Transport Manager, taking overall responsibility for fleet management and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Champion the safety and wellbeing of all employees and those affected by our operations.
- Implement people management processes in line with company policy.
- Ensure all training and competency checks are in place across all roles.
- Manage operations against Veolia Minimum Requirements (VMR).
- Utilise data and Power BI to drive operational performance improvements.
- Drive efficiencies to maximise profitability.
- Manage Waste Transfer Station operations.
Qualifications
- Transport CPC
- Level 3 Leadership & Management (or equivalent work experience)
- Previous waste management experience
- Previous fleet management experience
- IOSH Managing Safely – desirable
