We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple care homes in the North West.Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager / Operations Director, you will ensure homes remain fully compliant with regulatory requirements, deliver high-quality care and environments for residents, and achieve financial and business objectives. You will provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Home Managers, driving performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Home Managers, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and team development
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, reporting, and business growth to meet targets
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and legal standards, implementing action plans where required
- Monitor and improve care quality, safety, and overall resident experience
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, including regulators
- Track KPIs, analyse performance data, and report to senior leadership
- Identify development needs and mentor senior staff to strengthen performance
About You:
- Proven experience managing operations within a care home or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and care regulations
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Data-driven with a focus on delivering high-quality elderly care
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence
- NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience
