Key Account Manager – Central East (Cambridgeshire, Peterborough &BLMK)
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven individual for a Key Account Manager (KAM) role in the Cambridge, Peterborough, Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes ICB. The role reports to the Regional Business Manager, Central & East UK. As a Key Account Manager, you will lead on creating and implementing territory business plans to increase sales of Menarini UK promoted products, while developing advocacy and building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and HCPs within the NHS.
What You’ll Work On
Commercial Growth & Territory Ownership
• Create, execute, and maintain a robust business plan aligned with Menarini’s product strategy.
• Drive consistent territory growth, achieving agreed sales targets and increasing market share for the promoted portfolio.
• Strategically allocate and manage the promotional budget to optimize commercial outcomes.
• Identify healthcare system developments and market trends to proactively grow the Menarini portfolio and mitigate risks.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• Build and sustain high-value relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to secure optimal formulary positions.
• Leverage the expertise of internal cross-functional teams and play a leading role within the infield team to share best practices and deliver on brand objectives.
• Collaborate effectively to optimize account performance and ensure accelerated patient access to Menarini products.
Compliance & Patient Safety
• Maintain 100% adherence to the ABPI Code of Practice and company SOPs, operating with the highest level of integrity.
• Ensure patient safety by accurately and promptly reporting adverse events in line with Menarini UK guidelines.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms confidently and compliantly to engage stakeholders.
Your qualifications
• Science graduate/graduate calibre with at least five years’ pharmaceutical and NHS experience.
• ABPI Qualified.
• Proven track record of achievement and improved personal and business performance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Confident, quick thinking, responsive and solution oriented.
• Strong work ethic and high levels of energy resilience, integrity and honesty.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Computer literate.
• PV Trained.
