We’re supporting a highly regarded investment platform in London with the appointment of a Risk & Compliance Manager — a pivotal, senior leadership role with broad responsibility and real influence across the business.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel and working closely with the CEO and Board, this position sits at the heart of the organisation’s governance framework. You’ll take ownership of enterprise-wide risk and compliance, ensuring regulatory obligations are met while helping shape strategic decision-making.
This is a role for someone who enjoys operating at both a strategic and hands-on level — advising senior stakeholders, leading on regulatory matters, and embedding a strong culture of compliance across a dynamic and growing platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the risk and compliance function across the business
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on regulatory and reputational risk
- Overseeing FCA-related compliance (including AML, SMCR, financial promotions)
- Managing risk frameworks, reporting, and governance at Board level
- Acting as MLRO and Data Protection lead
- Driving continuous improvement across compliance processes and controls
We’re looking for:
- A senior compliance professional with strong financial services experience
- Deep knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks (FCA, AML, MiFID, AIFMD)
- Proven ability to influence and challenge at Executive and Board level
- Experience leading compliance programmes and investigations
- A proactive, commercially aware mindset with strong leadership capability
