Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced .NET/C# Developer to join a Front Office Commodities Markets IT team based in Central London. The role involves developing and supporting business-critical trading applications, working closely with Front Office users and global technology teams in a fast-paced financial markets environment.

This is a contract position (Inside IR35) offering strong exposure to trading, derivatives, and risk systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Front Office trading applications
• Work closely with traders and business stakeholders to gather requirements
• Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Provide support for pre-trade and pricing tools
• Contribute to architecture and technology decisions
• Ensure compliance with development standards and governance

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong experience in C# / .NET development
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular or WPF)
• Good understanding of financial markets and derivatives
• Experience working in Front Office or trading environments preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery models
