Head of Digital Marketing
Cheshire Area (Hybrid)
Permanent
£70-75k
We’re working with a national, multi-site brand looking to hire a Head of Digital Marketing to take real ownership of their digital growth.
This is a role for someone who wants to move beyond channel management and build a proper, scalable digital engine across acquisition, conversion, and data.
The role
You’ll own the full digital ecosystem, from strategy through to execution, and play a key role in how the business grows both nationally and locally. It’s a mix of strategy, performance, and leadership, with high visibility across the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the digital strategy end-to-end, focused on driving real, measurable growth rather than activity.
- Take full responsibility for website performance and conversion, continuously improving the user journey.
- Drive SEO and paid channels to deliver consistent, high-quality demand.
- Get the data and martech stack working properly, with clear tracking and actionable insight.
- Manage agencies and partners to a high standard, keeping performance tight and aligned.
- Work closely with leadership and regional teams to make sure digital lands across the whole business.
- Build and lead a team that delivers, not just reports.
What they’re looking for
- Strong experience leading digital strategy in a growth-focused business.
- Deep understanding of SEO, paid media, CRO, and analytics.
- A track record of turning digital into a measurable revenue driver.
- Experience managing websites, martech, and performance data.
- Comfortable operating in a multi-site or complex business model.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
- Commercial, hands-on, and delivery-focused.
Why this role
- Genuine ownership, with the opportunity to build structure rather than just optimise what’s already there.
- High visibility and influence across the business.
- A role that blends strategy and execution, with a clear link to commercial outcomes.
If you’re in a senior digital role and want more ownership, more influence, and a clearer impact on growth, it’s worth a conversation.
