Job Description

As Programme Manager, you will play a key role within the Transformation Office, owning and delivering programmes that cut across multiple business areas.

This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with senior stakeholders, translating complex challenges into structured, deliverable outcomes.

You will operate as a generalist programme leader, flexing across different initiatives depending on business priorities. Programmes are likely to span:

  • Operational and supply chain transformation
  • Working capital and margin improvement initiatives
  • S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)
  • Warehouse / logistics and fulfilment programmes
  • Product, data, and technology-enabled change

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-to-end programme delivery, including plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes
  • Establish and run effective programme governance, ensuring clear visibility for senior leadership
  • Translate complex challenges into clear, structured delivery plans
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders, including commercial, operational, and technology teams
  • Partner with Finance to track benefits realisation and financial performance
  • Support and guide Project Managers across programme workstreams
  • Adapt quickly across multiple initiatives, bringing structure to evolving priorities

Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes in complex organisations
  • Strong track record operating across multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to bridge business and technology, working effectively with product, engineering, or digital teams
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and influencing at leadership level

Solid understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer-led businesses
  • Exposure to:
  • Supply chain or operational transformation
  • S&OP or planning processes
  • Warehouse management or logistics programmes
  • Background in consulting or fast-paced transformation environments
