**Commercial Property Associate – Cambridge**

Oculus Legal Group is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded East Anglian law firm as they continue to strengthen their Commercial Property offering in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity at Solicitor or Associate level to join a respected, forward-thinking practice with a strong reputation across the East Anglian region.

Role Overview

The role will focus primarily on landlord and tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases, property finance, and corporate support work.

You will work with a range of clients including many household names, including some of the country’s largest housebuilders, commercial developers, investors, lenders, business owners, charities, landowners, construction firms and public sector organisations.

Key Responsibilities

Managing commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals and lease negotiations

Advising landlord and tenant clients on a range of leasing and asset management matters

Supporting development projects, including site assembly and funding transactions

Advising and assisting clients in relation to their matters, ensuring a high level of client service is maintained at all times.

Delivering clear, commercially focused advice in a proactive and solutions-driven manner

Networking and business development in the Cambridge market supported by your colleagues

Person Specification

Qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Property (ideally 2-5 years’ PQE, though strong candidates outside this bracket will be considered)

Solid technical grounding in commercial real estate transactions

Ability to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision depending on PQE

Strong communication skills and a commercially aware, client-focused approach
