Finance Manager / Financial Controller – Glasgow – £55,000–£65,000
I’m working with a growing business that’s at a genuinely interesting stage of its journey, and they’re looking to bring in a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join the leadership team.
This isn’t a role where you’ll just be producing numbers. It’s for someone who wants to understand what’s really driving performance, challenge it, and help shape how the business moves forward.
You’ll be taking ownership of the finance function in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where there’s a lot going on and plenty of opportunity to make an impact. The role is hands-on, but with clear visibility at senior level, working closely with the Managing Director and supporting broader decision-making.
A big part of the position is around interpretation and insight. Looking at performance, understanding what’s changed and why, and being able to communicate that in a way that actually helps the business take action.
⚙️ There’s also a strong focus on improving how things are done — reporting, processes and visibility of data — all areas where someone with the right mindset can really add value.
They’re looking for someone who is comfortable in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with detail but can also step back and see the bigger picture, and has the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business.
