Cyber Security Analyst

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Strong expertise in Microsoft security and compliance technologies, including:
• Microsoft 365 Defender / Security Portal (covering endpoint and identity protection)
• Microsoft Purview (data governance and compliance, including the Compliance Portal)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft-based security environments is essential; general cloud security experience (e.g., AWS) alone is not sufficient for this role
• Demonstrated experience in identifying, remediating vulnerabilities, and applying patches within live production environments
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and risk mitigation strategies
• Practical experience across endpoint, network, and identity security within Microsoft ecosystems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SC-200, or SSCP are desirable
• Exposure to Power Platform and Power BI is considered an advantage
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
