We are currently partnering with a well-established UK manufacturer within the professional cleaning & hygiene space, looking to appoint a high-calibre Business Development Manager to drive growth across the janitorial, facilities management, and contract cleaning sectors.
This is very much a field-based, hands-on role focused on both new business and account development, working across distribution partners and direct end users. Our client have a fantastic reputation in the market and through growth are offering this exciting new role.
You will be able to manage your own diary, have a brilliant support team to back you and an inspirational leadership team to help see you thrive in the role.
What we are looking for:
- Proven B2B sales experience within:
- Janitorial / cleaning products
- Hygiene / washroom solutions
- Facilities management or contract cleaning
- Strong understanding of distribution-led sales models
- An existing network across:
- Distributors
- FM providers
- Contract cleaning companies
- Experience managing:
- Key accounts
- Tenders & frameworks
- Pricing and commercial agreements
- A self-sufficient, hands-on approach, this is not a team management role
The role:
- Drive new business growth across the UK
- Develop and grow existing accounts
- Work closely with distributors while identifying direct opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Represent the business in the market and build strong sector relationships
