An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to take full ownership of on-site, day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys driving efficiency, structure, and continuous improvement.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of factory operations. You will collaborate closely with production, warehouse, planning, and quality teams to ensure output targets, timelines, and standards are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure optimal productivity and performance
- Managing production planning to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule
- Partnering with warehouse teams to enhance stock control and streamline workflows
- Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing practical, scalable improvements
- Leading and supporting production teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Driving initiatives to improve efficiency, minimise waste, and support business growth
- Working closely with technical and quality teams to ensure compliance with all required standards
- Acting as a key point of coordination between production, commercial, and leadership functions
About You
We are looking for a proactive and solutions-focused individual who takes pride in ownership and delivering results.
You will ideally bring:
- Proven experience in an operations or production management role
- A background within food, nutrition, powders, or a similar manufacturing setting (highly advantageous)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach to leadership and problem-solving
- Experience managing teams and maintaining engagement and performance
- A keen eye for detail with a continuous improvement mindset
