Job Title: Project Manager (Automation & Control Systems)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver industrial automation projects involving control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and MES solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery for automation and control systems projects.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and IT.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Manage vendors, subcontractors, and third-party suppliers.
• Oversee system integration, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Control Systems, or related field).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in industrial automation or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Control systems architecture
• PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
• SCADA systems (e.g., WinCC, Wonderware)
• MES solutions and integration
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system integration and industrial networking.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and digital transformation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity in industrial control systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
