Conveyancing Paralegal

We’re partnered with an award-winning, legal 500 ranked law firm who are looking for a Property Paralegal to join my clients Property team, based in Leeds. This role is the perfect opportunity to progress a career in property law and gain excellent exposure to a broad range of work in a busy and friendly team.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify titles at the Land Registry and obtain Official Copy Entries and documents.
• Perform title checks and property due diligence.
• Conduct and review property searches.
• Obtain documents from Local Authorities and third parties.
• Chase clients and third parties for outstanding items.
• Carry out pre-completion Land Registry searches.
• Handle post-completion matters.
• Review title registers and plans for Deeds of Variation.
• Obtain and identify relevant documents for Deeds of Variation.
• Liaise with Councils and third parties, chasing responses and addressing queries.
• Draft planning application forms, deeds, and covering letters.
• Provide progress reports to Clients, Partners, and Solicitors.
• Support the organisation, monitoring, and delivery of significant team transactions.
• Provide cover and support for other paralegals as required.
• Meet set targets.
• Adhere to department procedures, Solicitors’ accounts rules, and firm policies.
• Undertake duties relevant to the Paralegal role, including adapting to new systems and technology.

What we need from you:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of DMS (Document management system).
• Previous Conveyancing/Property/ Real Estate experience in a legal setting.
