We’re working with a global technology organisation operating in the security, identity, and digital payments space to find an experienced Solutions QA Engineer. You’ll play a key role in ensuring product reliability, performance, and security, while helping shape how quality engineering evolves through automation and modern testing approaches, including the use of AI-assisted testing tools.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications
- Performing manual and automated testing across applications and integrated systems
- Collaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality product delivery
- Investigating, reproducing, and documenting software defects, supporting developers through resolution and verification
- Using AI-powered tools to enhance test case design, defect analysis, and test coverage optimisation
- Contributing to test planning, estimations, and quality reviews within Agile delivery cycles
- Managing and tracking issues using tools such as JIRA or similar test management platforms
- Delivering product demonstrations, training sessions, and knowledge sharing with internal teams and customers
- Supporting Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) and Go-Live activities, including international travel to client sites when required
- Championing QA best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years’ experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the defect lifecycle
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps or similar)
- Experience in test automation, ideally with Python scripting
- Exposure to Web automation frameworks (WebWeaver or similar tools advantageous)
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery environments
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
