A London-based asset manager is seeking an Operational Risk professional to support and enhance its risk management framework. This is a hands-on role within a lean team, offering broad exposure across investment, operations, and governance.

Oversee and strengthen the firm’s operational risk framework, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and mitigated in line with regulatory expectations and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Operational Risk Framework (RCSA, KRIs, incident management).
• Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across front-to-back functions.
• Own and track risk events, incidents, and remediation actions.
• Support ICARA / risk assessments and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with the business to embed strong risk and control practices.
• Produce concise risk reporting and MI for senior management.
• Contribute to policies, procedures, and governance enhancements.

Requirements

• 3–6 years’ experience in Operational Risk within asset management or a similar buy-side environment.
• Strong understanding of investment operations, front office workflows, and fund structures.
• Experience with RCSA, KRIs, and incident management frameworks.
• Familiarity with UK regulatory expectations (e.g. FCA, ICARA).
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
