About the job:
A leading alternative investment manager is seeking a senior capital formation professional to raise capital from European institutional investors across multiple strategies. The role focuses on expanding the firm’s investor network, deepening existing relationships, and supporting global fundraising initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Raise capital from European institutional investors across all strategies, with potential future coverage expansion into the Middle East.
- Develop and execute a targeted fundraising plan, including prioritised investor segmentation and outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with pension funds, foundations, endowments, family offices, and consultants.
- Coordinate closely with senior leadership on fundraising strategy, capital allocation priorities, and investor pipeline development.
- Generate a consistent flow of high‑quality investor meetings and deliver against capital‑raising targets.
- Partner with senior investment and executive teams to support due diligence processes and successful fundraising outcomes.
Requirements:
- ~10-15 years of experience in capital raising, distribution, or investor relations within alternative assets.
- Demonstrable track record raising capital from European institutional investors; Middle Eastern coverage beneficial but not essential.
- Existing relationships across pension funds, consultants, family offices, endowments, and other institutional allocators.
- Background may include private equity, real estate, infrastructure, private credit, investment management, consultancy, or placement.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex investment strategies clearly.
- Highly proactive, entrepreneurial, relationship‑driven, and capable of operating in a lean, collaborative environment.
- Strong cultural alignment around integrity, fiduciary responsibility, and delivering best‑in‑class client service.
