The Opportunity
We’re working with a high-growth, independent advisory firm operating in the mid-market M&A space. They’ve built serious momentum over the past few years, scaling quickly, winning repeat business, and establishing a strong reputation across private equity, owner-managed businesses, and strategic buyers.
Now they’re looking to hire an Associate Director / Experienced Manager to play a key role in deal delivery, client management, and ongoing growth of the practice. This is a hands-on, front-foot corporate finance in an entrepreneurial environment where you will need to have the ability to run transactions end‑to‑end.
The Role
You’ll sit at the centre of transactions, working closely with clients, leading workstreams, and driving deals from start to finish.
Expect to be involved in:
- Leading execution across M&A, disposals, fundraising and buy-side mandates
- Managing financial modelling, valuation work and due diligence processes
- Producing high-quality client materials (IMs, board packs, analysis)
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and external advisers
- Coordinating multiple stakeholders across transactions
- Supporting origination and business development activity
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
What They’re Looking For
- ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualified (or equivalent)
- Background in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services or Advisory
- Proven deal experience across buy-side and/or sell-side
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capability
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to operate at senior levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
- Strong communication skills internally and with clients
