Graphic Designer (Midweight, Digital-First)
Maidenhead, Berkshire (Hybrid: 2–3 days in office)
I’m working with a growing consumer health company in Maidenhead that’s building a fast-paced, highly collaborative in-house studio.
They develop market-leading OTC brands and prescription medicines, and their creative team operates with real pace, variety, and impact across a large brand portfolio.
The Role
This is a digital-first design role (approx. 80%), where you’ll be creating high-quality assets across multiple brands and channels.
You will be responsible for conceptualising and executing high-impact graphics and assets across digital, print, and social platforms.
As a “middleweight,” you are expected to take full ownership of complex briefs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver “best-in-class” design solutions that align with our strategic business goals and brand portfolio.
You’ll also support on some print work, including point of sale and out-of-home, so versatility is key.
Working closely with a Lead Designer, you’ll be expected to jump straight in, take ownership of projects, and deliver work to a high standard in a busy, multi-brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Brand Guardianship: Develop and evolve visual identities, including logos, typography systems, and comprehensive brand guidelines.
• Multichannel Execution: Create compelling assets for websites, social media campaigns, print collateral, exhibitions, and product packaging.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Art Directors to translate complex business objectives into intuitive and emotionally impactful visuals.
Expert proficiency in:
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential.
• Some knowledge of Figma
• Good working knowledge of After Effects
Collaboration and Communication
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to understand and project goals and strong design solutions.
• Ability to present design concepts confidently to stakeholders and clearly articulate the rationale behind creative decisions, all captured within our studio templates
Quality
• Ensure that all work is consistent, on time and of the highest quality, whilst adhering to brand guidelines.
• Review and approve final designs, ensuring all assets are ready for production or digital launch.
• Maintaining, archiving and house keeping of project folders, assets and naming conventions.
• Mastery of typography, layout, grid systems, and colour theory
• Great eye for design composition
Where you shine
• Able to switch between high-level conceptual thinking and hands-on execution.
• Strong eye for detail, and pace for creating timely assets.
• An “acute vision” for perfection, ensuring all work is error-free before release.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
If you’re a digitally-led designer who enjoys variety, pace, and ownership — this is a great opportunity to step into a role where you can make an immediate impact.
