Job DescriptionWe are looking for compassionate Home Care Assistants to join our friendly team supporting older adults living independently in Wareham, Purbeck and the surrounding areas.About the RoleAs a Home Instead Care Assistant, you will be matched with a small group of regular clients in your local area, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and provide high-quality care.Unlike many care providers, our visits are a minimum of 1 hour, meaning you have time to provide genuine support and companionship.Your duties may include:Providing companionship and conversationHelping clients with morning and evening routinesSupporting with personal care such as dressing or showeringPrompting medicationPreparing simple mealsLight household tasksAccompanying clients to appointments, shopping or social activitiesPay & Benefits£14.00 – £15.00 per hour Paid mileage, travel and waiting timeFlexible working hours availableIndustry-leading training and Care CertificationCareer progression opportunitiesFull PPE providedEmployee benefits schemeSupportive and friendly local office teamQualificationsNo previous care experience is required, we provide full training and ongoing support.If you enjoy helping others and want a rewarding career where you truly make a difference every day, we would love to hear from you.RequirementsHave a full UK driving licenceHave access to a reliable vehicleBe able to work mornings, evenings and every other weekendBe kind, reliable and compassionateBe comfortable working in Wareham, Purbeck and surrounding areasExperience in care is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.Additional InformationWhy Home Instead?Home Instead is known for delivering outstanding care with warmth, respect, and companionship.
