Operations Support Manager – GlasgowCompany Description Title: Operations Support ManagerLocation: Central belt & West of Scotland Monday to Friday40 hours per week 40,000 per annum Paid mileageSupporting the operations team through the central belt of Scotland that will include around 14 different locations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our operational processes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Manage and coordinate daily operations activities, ensuring efficiency and productivity across all departmentsDevelop and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve operational performanceSupport Operations manager within the patch Analyse operational data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and cost reductionLead and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellenceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational goals with overall business objectivesOversee project management activities related to operational improvements and new initiativesEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standardsPrepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior managementManage relationships with key vendors and suppliers to maintain optimal service levelsContribute to the development and implementation of long-term operational strategiesQualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations management or a similar roleA strong background in catering and hospitalityA passion for food and innovationFamiliar with various budget models Financial acumen within budgets, proposals and costingsProven track record in strong team leadership and supervisionStrong knowledge of operations management principles and best practicesExcellent project management skills with experience in process improvement initiativesProficiency in data analysis and performance metricsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation buildingOutstanding organisational and time management abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirableUnderstanding of supply chain and logistics processesWillingness to travel within Scotland’s central belt as and when requiredAdditional Information For almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that’s an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.We need the brightest and the best to join us to make this all possible.
