Due to continued growth, they are seeking a professional Call Handler / Administrator to join their team in Knaresborough on a temp-to-perm basis. You will play a vital role in ensuring all enquiries are handled professionally, accurately, and efficiently while providing consistent, high-quality customer service at all times. This role combines inbound call handling with administrative coordination, making it ideal for candidates with strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Call HandlingDeliver excellent customer service by handling inbound calls, emails, and online enquiriesAccurately log customer requests, issues, and service calls into CRM or job management systemsProvide clear, professional information regarding services, appointments, and proceduresPrioritise urgent and emergency calls, escalating where necessaryFollow up with customers to ensure resolutions and satisfactionMaintain a consistently high customer service standard across all interactionsAdministrative & Operational Support:Update and maintain customer records with attention to detailPrepare and distribute service documentation, quotations, and acknowledgementsSupport engineer scheduling and service coordinationAssist with purchase orders, invoicing, and basic billing queriesMaintain organised electronic and paper filing systemsDraft internal and external correspondence as requiredTeam Collaboration:Liaise with engineers, operations, and sales teams to support effective service deliveryCommunicate job updates clearly between field teams and customersAssist with information gathering for compliance and reporting requirements…
