Project Manager

The client are a leaders in providing ICT infrastructure to a host of sectors such as commercial, industrial, government, NHS and education.The successful candidate will be fully responsible for delivering projects from initial concept through to completion. The role will play a key part in support of the companies long term success.Key responsibilities and dutiesPlan, manage and deliver structured data cabling projects from initiation to completionCo-ordination of copper and fibre optic cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, fibre)Develop project schedules, budgets and resourcing plansLiaise with clients, contractors, vendors and internal teams.Ensure compliance with set industry standards (BSEN, ISO)Oversee site surveys, drawings and technical documentationManage subcontractors and on site installation teamsConduct testing, commissioning and certification of cabling systemsResolution of technical issues, changes and scope variationsTrack materials, procurement and inventoryEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budge and to specPrepare accurate cost estimates for projectsSupport contract negotiations and scope clarificationsSkills and experience requiredExtensive experience working in the infrastructure cabling industryCarried out project management from start to completion within the infrastructure cabling industryMust hold a ECS cardHolding qualifications in CTPM or CNCI, IOSH, IPAF, PASMA would be advantageous but not essentialAble to multi task several projects at any one timeMeticulous attention to detailMust hold a DBS or be prepare to take a DBS checkClean and valid driving licenseThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager within extensive infrastructure cabling industry looking for a new challenge with a forward thinking company.The company is based in Redditch but due to the travelling element of the role would encourage applications from the Worcestershire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Staffordshire areas.To be considered for this role, click ‘Apply’ today, and follow the instruction!…
