Timber Yard Operative – Temporary to Permanent Location: Wythall, B47 Pay: £12.71 per hour Hours: Between 7:30am – 5:00pm Benefits: On-site parking Are you reliable, motivated, and looking for a hands-on role within a busy builders’ merchant yard? We’re looking for a Timber Yard Operative to join our team and support the smooth running of our yard operations. About the Role As a Timber Yard Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our busy yard. Your responsibilities will include:Managing and controlling all stock movement in and out of the branchCollating customer orders accuratelyLoading and unloading company and supplier vehiclesSupporting stock control to ensure product availability and qualityUpholding high standards of Health & Safety, manual handling, and yard securityProviding excellent customer service What We’re Looking For High level of self-motivationAbility to work independently or as part of a teamStrong communication skillsGood physical fitnessAbility to work to deadlinesReliability, good timekeeping, and strong attendanceForklift licence/experience requiredExperience with building materials or in a similar role is desirable If you’re hardworking, enthusiastic, and ready to be part of a dedicated team.
