Associate Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

Your new company : You’ll be joining a large, global multidisciplinary consultancy known for delivering high‑performance building design across sectors such as education, commercial, healthcare, transportation, defence, nuclear, and major infrastructure. Their Building Services teams work on complex, multi‑disciplinary projects across Scotland and the wider UK, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and achieving the highest environmental standards. Your new role: As an Associate Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll provide technical leadership within the Building Services team, guiding engineers and contributing to innovative design solutions across a wide range of building sectors. You’ll be involved in leading projects from concept through to delivery, coordinating with multi‑disciplinary teams and supporting the drive toward industry‑leading standards, including Net Zero goals. What you’ll need to succeed Strong background in electrical building services design, ideally within a consultancy environment. Experience leading projects or teams, with the ability to guide engineers and provide technical oversight. Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines on complex, large‑scale projects. A passion for innovation, sustainability, and contributing to high‑performance building solutions aligned with modern environmental and net‑zero objectives.
