Come join us. Could you be our next Graduate within our Bereavement Services team? You will review burial records, including documents dating back to the late 19th century, to identify inaccuracies, uncover historically significant information and help convert these paper records into accessible digital resources for public use. You will also locate unused graves, maintain and update digital headstone databases, and contribute detailed reports for senior management. Alongside records work, you will support practical tasks such as headstone stability testing and cataloguing the results. The role provides opportunities to develop skills in digital recording systems, AutoCAD and geographical mapping tools including ArcGIS and Esri. Training and potential further study will be offered to support your professional growth in areas relevant to the post. What we are looking for… You will have an interest in archive and records management and history and will have a HND or above in either History, History with Archive and Records Management or Information Data and Society.
