Role Description

The position is for a qualified fire door inspector to work on a contract basis in London and the surrounding areas. The Fire Door Inspector will be responsible for conducting comprehensive fire door inspections, identifying compliance issues, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities include compiling detailed inspection reports on residential properties for both flat entrance and communal fire doors.

Qualifications

• Proficient in fire inspections and assessing fire door compliance
• Relevant fire door inspection qualification, preferably Level 3
• Confident in using digital inspection software
• Able to keep to strict timetables and timed appointments
• Knowledge of Fire Prevention and Fire Protection practices and standards
• Familiarity with Life Safety and Fire Safety regulations and protocols
• Strong attention to detail and ability to compile accurate reports
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently on client sites
• Relevant certifications or experience in fire safety or related fields are a plus
• An understanding of property compliance requirements is desirable
