International Compliance – Trade Surveillance Analyst (6-month Contract – £350-£450) – Inside IR35 – London

London (Hybrid, primarily UK hours, some flexibility for US coverage)

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Surveillance Analyst to join a leading international electronic trading firm for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will focus on alert disposition and case management across RFQ (US) and CLOB (EU), with exposure to Fixed Income, equity derivatives, and repos.

This is not just a BAU alerting role – you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, support alert calibration, enhance MI and dashboards, and engage with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, and Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

-Daily review and escalation of surveillance alerts (SMARTS)

-Case management through to regulatory submission

-Support alert optimisation and calibration

-Contribute to dashboards and management information (Tableau)

-Provide constructive feedback on surveillance processes

Required Skills & Experience:

-Strong SMARTS alert disposition experience

-Fixed Income knowledge (bonds, credit and interest rate derivatives)

-Understanding of market abuse typologies and regulatory frameworks

-Confident stakeholder engagement, both verbal and written

-Tableau, Python/SQL.

Contract & Day Rate:

-6-month

-London-based (UK hours)

-Day rate: £350–£450/day
