Job Description:

We’re looking for a friendly, organised Compliance Officer to join our CAMHS staffing agency team in Hackney Wick.

This is a key admin and compliance role within a healthcare recruitment environment, supporting the onboarding and compliance checking of clinicians and support staff working across mental health services. You’ll help ensure all candidate files meet safeguarding, regulatory, and NHS-style compliance standards before placement into services.

You’ll be at the heart of making sure our workforce is safe, verified, and fully compliant so they can deliver high-quality care to children and young people.

If you’re someone who enjoys structure, detail, and making sure everything is correct and audit-ready, this role will suit you well.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing and maintaining candidate compliance files for CAMHS healthcare professionals
  • Completing and tracking DBS checks, right-to-work checks, references, and employment history verification
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding requirements and healthcare recruitment standards
  • Checking professional registrations (e.g. NMC, HCPC, GMC where applicable)
  • Supporting onboarding for clinicians into NHS and private CAMHS services
  • Keeping records audit-ready and supporting internal/external compliance audits
  • Working closely with recruitment consultants to ensure candidates are cleared for placement

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
  • Experience in admin, compliance, or healthcare recruitment (preferred but not essential)
  • Understanding of (or interest in) regulated healthcare environments and safeguarding
  • Confident handling documentation and compliance systems
  • Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet compliance deadlines
