Salary: Up to £65K depending on experience plus bonus Ready to lead a homecare service with real scale and complexity? Following a successful tender award, we’re looking for a motivated Manager to lead this new contract and help establish it from the outset. We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our Denton hub, covering homecare services across the Manchester and Tameside area. This branch operates on the Manchester local authority contract, so we need someone who understands what it takes to mobilise and manage commissioned care at this level. We need a manager who’s done this before — someone who knows how to mobilise contracts, manage large domiciliary care packages, and deliver consistent quality across a wide geography. Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a domiciliary care setting — this is essential, not a step-up opportunity Experience mobilising local authority or commissioned care contracts — ideally within the Manchester or Greater Manchester area Strong understanding of managing care packages at scale across a wide geographic patch NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Solid understanding of CQC regulations and standards You’ll need a driving licnese and access to a car Commercial awareness — you’ll be managing budgets, resources, and contract performance Mobilising and managing the Manchester local authority contract, ensuring all contractual obligations and KPIs are met Building and developing your team through coaching and Routes Academy Implementing care plans that truly meet service users’ needs Ensuring CQC compliance and best practice (our Quality team guides you through inspections) Building strong relationships with commissioners, service users, families, and the local community For 15 years, Routes has been delivering high-quality homecare that puts people first.
