Location: Liverpool Contract Type: Long-Term Contract IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Shift Pattern: Days or Shifts Available Overview We are currently recruiting Dual Skilled Electrical & Mechanical Engineers on a long-term contract basis for a leading client within the rail rolling stock industry, based in Liverpool. These roles sit within the maintenance team and offer the opportunity to work either day shifts or a rotating shift pattern. Key Responsibilities– Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on rail rolling stock– Fault finding and diagnosis on electrical and mechanical systems– Perform inspections, repairs, overhauls, and component changes– Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and industry standards– Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports– Work collaboratively within a depot-based maintenance team Essential Requirements– Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering o Electrical qualification preferred, however strong mechanical xkybehq backgrounds will be considered– Experience in a maintenance or engineering environment– Ability to fault-find and work across electrical and mechanical systems– Strong awareness of health & safety procedures Desirable Experience– Previous rail or rolling stock experience– Experience working within a regulated or safety-critical environment…
