Are you a dedicated leader with a passion for making a positive difference in young people’s lives? Our client, a reputable care provider, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to oversee a 4-bed EBD children’s home in Shirley.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- Provide strong leadership and support to the care team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Deliver high-quality, child-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain and enhance the home’s Ofsted rating through best practice.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and care planning processes.
- Collaborate with external agencies, families, and professionals to secure positive outcomes for young people.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards are met.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within children’s residential care.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection processes.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A genuine commitment to providing therapeutic, high-quality care for young people.
