We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead a childrens residential home in the South Yorkshire area. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people and who is ready to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and Ofsted registration of the home. As the Registered Manager, you will have full legal responsibility and accountability for the service. You will lead and develop the staff team, ensure high-quality care delivery, maintain regulatory compliance, and create a safe, nurturing, and homely environment where children can thrive. Hold Ofsted registration and legal accountability for the home Ensure high-quality care in line with placement plans, risk assessments, and care plans Promote the health, welfare, and development of children and young people Maintain detailed, accurate records and high standards of report writing o The Children Act 1989 Manage budgets effectively and oversee financial systems Promote equality, diversity, and non-discriminatory practice Participate in the senior on-call rota Support continuous improvement and professional development
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and childrens residential legislation Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
