Have a SQL server experience to modernise the way the business works through smart development, integration, automation, and effective change delivery.Design, develop, and optimise SQL Server solutions including complex queries, stored procedures, and data models to support business systems, integrations, and reporting. Develop technical solutions using SQL, scripting languages (Python/PowerShell), and automation tools. Prepare SQL-driven datasets and maintain BI dashboards using Tableau (with some exposure to Power BI). Work with business teams to understand processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities to improve systems and data flows. Contribute to business change initiatives through process mapping, analysis, and solution design. Challenge existing practices and promote scalable, modern approaches that improve efficiency and data quality. Follow best-practice development processes including version control, testing, and peer review. Produce technical documentation and knowledge articles and deliver work streams within wider projects. Strong SQL Server experience including complex queries, stored procedures, query optimisation, and relational data modelling. Comfortable working directly with relational databases and large operational datasets. Demonstrable development experience using scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions. Experience preparing SQL datasets and supporting BI reporting using tools such as Tableau. Qualified through experience, apprenticeship, or relevant education (no specific degree required). Experience with SSIS, automation/orchestration tools, or process automation.
