Children’s Home Registered Manager (817 year olds with Learning Difficulties) Location:Contract: Full-Time, Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of Our Client for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead aChildren’s Residential home for 817 year olds with Learning Difficulties. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, values-driven leader who is committed to improving outcomes for young people with additional needs and ready to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management, regulatory compliance and strategic development of the service. Our Clients service is founded on a person-centred, trauma-informed approach, placing each young person at the heart of planning and decision-making. They recognise that young people with learning disabilities and autism often experience disrupted placements, unmet needs or reduced opportunities. The focus is on helping young people build confidence, resilience and positive identity, while ensuring their safety, wellbeing and rights are protected at all times. The service supports male and female young people aged 1625 with: Moderate to severe learning disabilities Autism and ADHD As Registered Manager, you will hold full legal responsibility and accountability for the service. You will lead and develop your team, ensure high-quality, person-centred support delivery, maintain regulatory compliance and create an environment where young people can thrive and progress toward greater independence. You will play a key role within the wider management structure, driving quality, safeguarding standards and continuous improvement. Hold registration and legal accountability for the service Ensure high-quality support in line with individual placement plans and Positive Behaviour Support Plans Promote independence, life skills and community integration Oversee admissions, compatibility assessments and transition planning Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks Manage budgets and oversee financial systems effectively Maintain high safeguarding and health & safety standards Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and safeguarding legislation Experience supporting young people with learning disabilities and autism Competitive salary of £47,008 £58,240 Opportunity to lead and shape a Residential Home Ongoing professional development The chance to make a lasting impact on young peoples lives If you are an experienced leader ready to drive excellence within a specialist Learning Difficulties service and support young people to achieve meaningful independence, we would love to hear from you….
