Import/Export supervisor – Hybrid

Position: LCL Export Manager Hours: Mon – Fri 37.5 per week, Hybrid Working – 2 Days WFH / 3 Days Office A fantastic opportunity is available with a highly successful, employee-owned logistics business known for its strong market presence and entrepreneurial culture. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Export Manager with a strong background in LCL ocean freight to lead and develop their export function. This is a key leadership position, supporting the Head of Department in the day-to-day running of the LCL export operation. You’ll be responsible for driving performance, improving efficiencies, and ensuring a high standard of service to both clients and international partners. Managing a team of 7, you’ll play a pivotal role in building a motivated, engaged, and results-driven department. Support LCL consolidation planning and overall export strategy Take ownership of financial performance, including P&L, KPIs, and reporting Support commercial teams with onboarding new clients Conduct regular team and performance review meetings Oversee monthly financial checks including invoicing, cost control, and job profitability Proven experience in LCL Ocean Exports (essential) Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and KPIs In-depth knowledge of export markets and industry trends Hybrid working (2 days from home) Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to shape and grow a key operational department If you’re an experienced export professional looking to step into a leadership role with real influence and long-term progression, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
