Ref:276) Female Support Worker Merthyr Tydfil (Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule9) Contract: Permanent Hours per week: 36 hours weekly (to include upto 3 x 12-hour shifts and selection of afternoon/evening shifts) Term time:12-hour shifts Waking Nights & Weekend days (09:00-21:00 & 21:00 09:00) Afternoon/evening (15:00 21:00) Monday Sunday (Flexibility essential) During school holidays shift patterns are likely to include working 12 or 6 hour working days. Pay per hour: Waking Nights £18 I am 6 years old and have complex health needs because of my medical condition. I need 24/7 1:1 support in all areasof daily life. You will be part of my amazing team which is led by my Mum and a Team Leader, with support from mycase manager. I need lots of support on a daily basis and also overnight as I can berestless. I am looking for enthusiastic, fun, patient and reliable Female Support Workers to help me during my day and night,supporting me with things such as play and entertainment, personal care, feeding and to settle me during the night sothat my Mum & Dad can have a good nights rest. In the school holidays, I might need you to help me get to medicaland therapy appointments and social events. A full induction and training will be provided. This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS. To join me as a Female Support Worker it is essential you: Have experience of working with children who have high care needs. Be able to drive and have use of a car and be willing to drive the family van.
