The firm is known for delivering high-quality service while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. A key part of this position will involve working on one of their largest clients — a substantial group with multiple subsidiaries — requiring solid experience in group audits, consolidations, and managing tight reporting deadlines. This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys a small-practice atmosphere, values client-facing responsibility, and wants to play an active role in enhancing audit quality and internal processes.

  • Identify audit risks, propose solutions, and communicate technical issues clearly.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout each audit cycle.
  • Support colleagues with technical queries, research, and process improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified, though strong auditors without formal qualification will be considered.
  • Solid experience in the full audit process within practice.
  • Proven experience with group structures and consolidations.
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and current auditing standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, analytical, and detail-driven approach.

What They Offer

  • Competitive salary package.
  • Direct exposure to the Audit Partner and a real voice in shaping audit processes.
  • Supportive, friendly culture with genuine work–life balance.
  • Ongoing professional development and technical training. xwzovoh
