We are seeking an experienced fund accountant who wants to take the next step in their career to a senior fund accounting role. Our client is one of most recognisable names within the Private Credit sector. You will be a fully qualified accountant with experience in closed-ended funds, ideally within either Private Credit/Debt or Private Equity

  • Overseeing quarterly investor reporting: prepared by administrators and reviewed & approved by the team. Clear and effective communication with multiple Fund Administrators.
  • Overseeing annual audited accounts: prepared by administrators and reviewed & approved by the team. Work closely with administrators and auditors to complete signing of audited financials on time.
  • Ensuring fund administrator reporting is accurate and is timely in their work.
  • Regular liaison with investors, answering their queries.
  • Preparation, review and approval of capital calls and distributions. Responsibility for Fund liquidity analysis and taking action to
  • Reviewing fund expenses and instructing invoices for payment.
  • Analysis and calculation of investment and fund performance.
  • Ad-hoc reporting for both internal and external stakeholders: deployment, fund performance, investment performance, etc.
  • Frequent liaison with relevant teams across the business; including Investor Relations, Investment Operations, Deal Team, and Treasury Team. xwzovoh
  • Management and oversight of direct reports, responsible for their deliverables and professional development.

Requirements

  • You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Have the requisite fund accounting experience (likely to be 3-4 years post-qualified)
  • Have very good Excel skills
  • Be based in the UK with full eligibility to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not being offered
