Principal Solutions Architect – Large Deals (100m+)

We’re seeking a Principal Solutions Architect – Large Deals Lead to shape and win complex, £100m+ multi-tower transformation programmes.

This is not a delivery architect role.

This is a board-facing, pursuit-led, commercially accountable position where you will own the end-to-end solution strategy on strategic bids — aligning Cloud, Applications, Infrastructure, Cyber, Data & AI into a compelling transformation narrative.

You will operate as the single-threaded technical leader on large-scale pursuits, building trusted relationships with CIOs and CTOs while orchestrating global solution teams to deliver differentiated, outcome-led propositions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading solution strategy and architecture on complex, multi-million-pound transformation pursuits
  • Shaping win strategy and defining competitive positioning on £100m+ deals
  • Acting as the technical executive sponsor across pursuits
  • Engaging early with CxO stakeholders to shape transformation roadmaps
  • Orchestrating cross-domain teams across Infrastructure, Digital Workplace, Applications, Cyber, Cloud & Data
  • Driving “One organisation” solution alignment across multiple service lines
  • Leading proposal artefacts, executive presentations, and value articulation
  • Acting as a visible thought leader in enterprise transformation and modern architecture

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Strategic Consulting
  • Demonstrable success winning or leading £100m+ transformation deals
  • Expertise across at least three of the following domains:
  • Infrastructure
  • Digital Workplace
  • Cybersecurity
  • Applications / Application Development
  • xwzovoh Application Modernisation (highly preferential)
  • Strong experience shaping complex, cross-domain solutions in IT Services
  • Proven ability to engage and influence CIO/CTO-level stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with clear understanding of margin, risk and delivery feasibility
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
