Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative Location: Ridgeway Belfast Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting to: Operations Manager Looking after a busy stock area dispatching and receiving goods for hire & sales, checking quantities and quality of products identifying damages and unsafe equipment, cleaning and maintaining products ready for hire, preparing orders ready for dispatch, keeping the area clean and tidy helping to promote a safe working environment. Assisting stock controller in maintaining sufficient stock levels in products in both the hire fleet and sales stock. The job involves heavy manual handling, and the candidate must be physically fit and able to work in all weathers (as this is an outdoor role). Suitable applicants will ideally have: Forklift Licence required Yard / Warehouse experience required Good numerical skills Ability to work on own with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
