An established Local Authority organisation managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager . The portfolio includes industrial estates, retail units, office spaces, and ground leases, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic asset management and urban development in the city. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Oversight: Manage lease agreements, rent collection, and tenant relations while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Strategic Asset Development: Work on enhancing the value of properties through sustainable and forward-thinking initiatives. Market Engagement: Coordinate with external agents and internal teams to facilitate property lettings, sales, and operational excellence. Financial Management: Oversee budgets, track property performance, and contribute to income generation strategies. Service Delivery: Collaborate with teams providing technical, valuation, and regulatory services. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in commercial property management, with a strong understanding of leasing and real estate regulations. MRICS Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and property performance analytics. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building relationships with tenants and stakeholders. Proficiency in property management software and familiarity with sustainable practices. A results-oriented approach to delivering value and supporting wider urban regeneration objectives.
