Data Engineer

Data Engineer Location: Belfast (Hybrid) Eligibility: UK work authorisation required (no sponsorship available) Are you a Data Engineer looking to work on modern cloud data platforms and play a key role in shaping how data drives business performance? Why join? * Be part of a major data transformation programme * Work with modern Azure data technologies at scale * Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams * Join a forward-thinking organisation investing heavily in data What you’ll be doing: * Design, build, and optimise data pipelines and architectures * Work with Azure technologies including Data Factory and Databricks * Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting * Monitor data platform performance and ensure reliability * Work with stakeholders to understand source systems and data requirements * Support data governance and best practices across the wider team What you’ll bring: * Strong experience in data engineering and data pipeline development * Excellent SQL skills * Hands-on experience with Azure data tools (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, SQL MI) * Experience working with relational databases and large datasets * Programming experience with Python, PySpark, or PowerShell * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with stakeholders Nice to have: * Knowledge of Agile delivery environments * Azure certifications * Experience with automated testing or CI/CD practices Interested?
