Project Manager
Digital Transformation Consultancy – Glasgow (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)
We’re working with a growing digital transformation consultancy that partners with clients to deliver complex technology, web and platform transformation programmes. Following the recent appointment of a new Head of Project Management, the team is strengthening its senior delivery capability to support both existing retained clients and new project work.
This is a hands-on senior delivery role suited to someone who thrives in an agency or consultancy environment, comfortable juggling multiple workstreams, managing client service desks, and leading delivery across fast-paced digital programmes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Focused on delivery, you’ll sit within a close-knit delivery team of 7–8 delivery, senior delivery and project managers, reporting directly into the Head of PM.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Owning the end-to-end delivery of multiple retained clients and small-to-medium projects
- Maintaining and evolving client service desks, supporting both existing clients and onboarding new work
- Acting as a senior client-facing lead, balancing strong service delivery with technical credibility
- Managing budgets, timelines, scope and quality, ensuring commercial and delivery outcomes align
- Choosing and applying the right delivery approach (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid) per project
- Leading Agile ceremonies where appropriate (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews)
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering and product
- Ensuring delivery tooling such as Jira and Confluence is used effectively and consistently
- Monitoring risk, issues, capacity and forecasting, escalating pragmatically when required
- Translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence
Project Landscape
This role sits firmly in technology-led delivery, including:
- Web and platform builds
- Digital transformation programmes
- Product, UX and engineering-led initiatives
Note: Candidates coming purely from full-spectrum digital marketing delivery (e.g. SEO, PPC, campaign-only work) are unlikely to be a fit.
About You
You’ll succeed in this role if you:
- Come from a digital agency or consultancy background (this is essential)
- Have proven experience managing multiple clients and delivery workstreams simultaneously
- Are confident operating at the intersection of client service, delivery management and technology
- Understand delivery in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Are commercially aware and comfortable managing budgets and forecasting
- Communicate effortlessly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Are structured, calm under pressure, and credible with senior clients
Essential experience:
- Senior Delivery / Delivery Manager experience in an agency or consultancy
- Jira (essential)
- Agile & Waterfall delivery methodologies
Working Model & Benefits
