A professional services organisation is looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to support and enhance its finance systems and processes. This role will play a key part in delivering digital transformation initiatives and ensuring finance operations are supported by accurate, reliable, and compliant systems.
The Role
Acting as a subject matter expert for finance operations, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to identify improvements and deliver system enhancements across finance platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting finance-focused digital transformation projects
- Acting as SME and second-line support for finance system queries
- Gathering and defining business requirements for system changes and enhancements
- Collaborating with development teams to design, test, and deliver solutions
- Managing user acceptance testing and producing test plans
- Writing SQL queries for reporting and analysis
- Maintaining and improving existing systems, processes, and workflows
- Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners
About You
You’ll be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both technical and business teams.
Experience in:
- Finance systems within the legal sector (including cashiering and collections)
- Practice management systems (e.g. Elite 3E or similar)
- Microsoft SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
- Supporting or delivering system improvements and change initiatives
- Working with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
- SRA regulations and compliance
Desirable:
- Experience with DevOps tools
- Exposure to project delivery or change environments
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or complex finance environments
