About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging IT Trainer to deliver high-quality technical training programs. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training sessions to enhance technical skills across the organization or for external clients. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and instructional abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver IT training programs (online, classroom, or hybrid formats)
- Develop training materials, manuals, presentations, and assessments
- Conduct workshops and hands-on sessions on relevant technologies and tools
- Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to support learning outcomes
- Customize training content based on organizational or client requirements
- Stay updated with the latest IT trends and incorporate them into training programs
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify training needs and skill gaps
- Maintain training records, reports, and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT training, technical instruction, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of IT fundamentals (networking, operating systems, software tools)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- At least one relevant certification, such as:
- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
- CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- ITIL Foundation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering training on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience in corporate training or client-facing environments
- Knowledge of e-learning tools and content development platforms
- Exposure to cybersecurity, cloud, or data-related training domains
