MEP Commercial Manager / Divisional MEP Commercial Lead – Data Centre Projects (Europe)
Location: UK / Europe (Hybrid)
Salary: £100k – £130k
I’m currently working with a highly regarded and genuinely dynamic MEP contractor to appoint a Divisional MEP Commercial Lead to support their growing European Data Centre portfolio.
This is a senior, leadership-level position overseeing €10m–€25m MEP packages across major hyperscale and mission-critical projects.
The Opportunity
This role offers something rarely seen in the market — true flexibility and autonomy.
European project work can often come with rigid and demanding rotation structures. This position is deliberately different.
- Flexible travel model – typically 1 week per month in Europe (more or less depending on your preference)
- Hybrid working when in the UK
- Full autonomy over how you structure your time and project involvement
- A business that trusts its senior people to operate effectively without unnecessary oversight
The Role
- Lead the commercial function across multiple European Data Centre projects
- Manage and mentor a team of Assistant to Intermediate Quantity Surveyors
- Oversee full commercial lifecycle including procurement, variations, reporting and final accounts
- Work closely with senior operational and project teams across Europe
- Contribute strategically to the continued growth of the division
The Package
- Flights covered to and from Europe
- Own apartment provided (not shared accommodation)
- Per diem allowance for time abroad (Daily living allowance)
- Bonus structure
- Long-term progression into a key divisional leadership role
The Business
A well known MEP contractor with a strong and diverse portfolio across:
- European Data Centres
- Commercial, Residential, Life Sciences and Education schemes
- Multiple specialist service lines and revenue streams
They are known for delivering complex projects while maintaining a pragmatic, people-first approach internally — something that is reflected in the flexibility offered within this role.
