Lead Software Developer (C++/Rust)

The Oho Group have partnered with a rapidly expanding engineering startup in Sheffield looking for a Lead Software Developer to own their in-house software team. This unique opportunity offers the chance to build software architectures from the ground up, alongside setting technical direction and supporting and leading the other members of the software team.

What’s in it for you?

What are they looking for?

• Expert in one of (or both) C++ or Rust
• Proven ability to construct simple software solutions to consumer and stakeholder requirements
• Experience in leading software projects from concept to shipping.
• Comfortable leading teams and being the figure of authority for other engineers

Nice to have

• Experience training AI and ML frameworks
• Previous work within embedded systems, RTOS and communications protocols
